FIELD: light-sensitive materials. SUBSTANCE: material is manufactured with use of antihalation dye by adding 1-beta- hydroxyethyl-3-propyl-5-(3-beta-carboxyethylbenzoxazolinylidene-2- ethylidene)imidazolidinthione-2-on-4, 1-phenyl-5-mercaptotetrazol (stabilizer), and tanners: 1,3,5-triacryloylhexahydrotriazine and N,NТ-tetramethylene-bis(N″, N″′-ethylenecarbide) to ammonia silver iodobromide emulsion with average microcrystal size 0.06 ± 0.2 mcm, pH 5.95 ± 0.15 and pBr of sensitizer 3.6 ± 0.2; pouring emulsion onto glass underlayered support; gelation; drying; and wet heat tanning of emulsion layer. Method is distinguished by that, as antihalation layer, 1-hydroxy-2-phenyldiazo-8-acetylaminonaphthalene- 3,6-disulfonic acid disodium salt is employed, which is added after addition of tanners in quantity 0.07 to 1.0 g/1 kg of emulsion. EFFECT: reduced microimperfection and enhanced image contrast with simpler material manufacture process.
