FIELD: oxide coating production systems. SUBSTANCE: method of applying oxide coating, mainly on articles from different-type titanium alloys, comprises steps of exciting a spark discharge; sustaining continuous and uniform sparking along a surface of an anode in aqueous alkali electrolyte, including aluminium compound, provides the step of excitement of the spark discharge at voltage 400- 550 V and pH of the electrolyte (8.5-11.8). EFFECT: enhanced wear resistant and corrosion resistant properties of coatings.
