FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves the steps of: using retroplacental blood serum as a raw material, dissolving 1 mg of thyroxin-binding protein in 10 ml of NaHCO3 solution and cooling up to 4-6 degrees C, washing 10 ml of activated matrix gel with two portion of cooled hydrochloric acid on a porous glass filter, transferring the matrix into protein solution and mixing for 2 hours, washing the obtained sorbent with NaHCO3 solution, blocking nonreacted active groups by mixing the sorbent with tris-HCl buffer. EFFECT: new sorbent specifically binding thyroxin obtained.
