FIELD: survey geophysics. SUBSTANCE: radiator transmitting system is provided with spring-loaded piston 7 that carries radiating element 10; discharge chamber 8 is connected to source for feeding desired-pressure liquid by means of piping 12. Spring-loaded piston 7 enables regulation of hold-down force of radiating element 10 to grouns which, in its turn, makes it possible to control amplitude-frequency spectrum of signal and to compensate for compression of ground during radiation. EFFECT: improved seismic effectiveness due to control of amplitude-frequency spectrum by varying hold-down force of radiating element to ground. 2 dwg
