FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to seismic prospecting in geophysics, particularly to methods of controlling a group of pulsed non-explosive excitation sources (NES). The method of generating seismic waves involves generation of seismic signals using a group of non-explosive excitation sources, where the non-explosive excitation sources are switched on one after the other with repetition frequency of pulses in a group corresponding to the central frequency of the expected useful signal.
EFFECT: increased signal/synchronous interference ratio.
