FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: synthesis of novel substances is performed from piperazine and corresponding substituted epoxide in ethanol medium in the presence of catalytic quantity of water. Novel substances suppress multiplication both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria at minimal concentrations (about 50 mcg/ml). EFFECT: synthesis of new compounds of class indicated above showing distinct spectrum of activity. 1 tbl
