FIELD: equipment for cultivating microorganisms. SUBSTANCE: fermenter has vertical cylindrical body 1 and growing surface defined by fixed auger 2. Coils 3 of auger 2 have gasket 4 disposed at their outer edge and adapted for hermetically sealing coil spacings through the height of cylindrical body. Auger has equal coil spacings in zones associated with microorganism growth phases and extending through body height. Coil spacing value in each subsequent zone in the direction of flow of nutrient medium in increasing by 20-30% as compared with previous zone. Body 1 is composed of shells 5 with heat-exchanging jackets 6, which are provided with unions 7 for supplying and discharging refrigerant. EFFECT: provision for dividing growth process into phases of growth of microorganisms and, as a result, obtaining of endogenous product. 1 dwg
