FIELD: microbiology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of culturing microorganisms in fermentation devices in liquid nutrient media. Method involves batch feeding nutrient medium in the first fermenter after pouring off excessive volume cultural fluid. Cultural fluid in cascade flow is transferred from the first fermenter to the next devices with given interval being in all next fermenters cultural fluid is replaced by cultural fluid volume from the previous fermenter. Operation by cascade flow is performed by time set-up of culturing and pause between cycles of cascade flow. Method ensures to separate growth phases of microorganisms by time and in the space.
