FIELD: communication, electronics. SUBSTANCE: amplifying klystron is composed of electron gun, input resonator intermediate resonators of basic frequency, drift tubes and collector. Double frequency resonator is placed in front of output resonator at distance 0.05-0.7 length of drift tube and is tuned to frequency chosen within interval 2 (Fo+Δfр)≅ f11≅ 2Fl.f., where Fo is central frequency of working range of frequencies of klystron; fl.f. is low-frequency boundary of working range of frequencies of klystron; Δfр is width of working range of frequencies of klystron. Incorporation of double frequency resonator reduces level of combination components in spectrum of output signal of resonator working under mode of simultaneous amplification of two and more HF signals located within one working range of frequencies. EFFECT: reduced content of noises in transmitted signal. 3 dwg
