FIELD: meteorology. SUBSTANCE: signal about γ angle of incidence of particles is sent from output of monitoring and processing unit 7 to units 8 and 9 for computation of maximal gmax and minimal angles of incidence of particles. Angles are measured about vertical axis of optical unit of meter. Signals from outputs of computation units 8 and 9 enter inputs of average incidence angle computation unit 10 and unit 11 for control of device 12 for rotation of vertical axis of optical unit. When angle γ becomes near to angle b of position of slot 4 then control unit 11 sends signal to rotation device 12 which turns vertical axis of optical unit by angle which value enters control unit 11 and computation unit 10 where real angle of incidence of particles about axis of optical device is computed. EFFECT: increased precision, increased dynamic range of measured speed and angle of moving particles. 5 dwg
