FIELD: heat treatment of titanium alloys. SUBSTANCE: consists in hydrogenation of alloy VT5-01 at 800 C up to concentration of 0.25-1.0 mas.%, heating to temperature exceeding that of thermodynamic stability by 50-90 C and cooling to temperature below temperature of eutectoid a conversion by 2050 C. Thermocycling is conducted for 5-10 cycles, polygonization annealing is performed at temperature below the temperature of recrystallization of hydrogenated alloy by 40-100 C for 0.25-2 h. Then, vacuum annealing is carried out at temperature above that of onset of recrystallization of dehydrogenated alloy by 10-50 C. Method results in production of alloys featuring b → α+γ= 946-910 MPa; sВ=902-882 MPa; σ0,2=14.0-16.1%; δ-26.9-29.8%. EFFECT: higher strength and plastic characteristics of g-titanium alloys. 2 cl, 1 tbl
