FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of powder metallurgy, in particular, to methods for producing and processing powdered titanium materials. A method for processing a powdered titanium material, including heating the powdered titanium material to a hydrogenation temperature and sustaining at this temperature, cooling to a temperature below the eutectoid transformation and sustaining at this temperature, heating to the dehydrogenation temperature, sustaining at this temperature, and cooling to the room temperature. No less than two thermal cycles are executed, including heating the powdered titanium material to a hydrogenation temperature of 600 to 950°C and sustaining at this temperature to ensure a concentration of hydrogen in the material of 0.1 to 2.5% wt., cooling to a temperature below the eutectoid transformation and sustaining at this temperature, followed by heating to a dehydrogenation temperature of 600 to 950°C, sustaining at this temperature and cooling to the room temperature.
EFFECT: production of fault-free sintered porous and compact materials is ensured.
