FIELD: rolling production equipment. SUBSTANCE: bush 2 located inside draw plate 1 and forms a universal articulation by means of barrel-shaped rolling solids of revolution placed in the cylindrical notches of the draw plate and the bush. The rolling solids of revolution are fixed from the axial displacement with nuts 5. The peculiarity of the construction lies in the fact that the rolling solids of revolution have two parts - barrel-shaped segments 3 and 4. The bases of the segments contacting with each other have different curvatures in the transverse and longitudinal directions. The base of one segment has a convex spherical surface described by the radius smaller than that of the concave spherical surface of another segment base. The planes tangential to the surfaces of the bases of segments 3 and 4 in the point of their contact form angles with the planes passing through the centers of the rolling solids of revolution and the articulation axle. It increases the areas of contact zones and shifts the maximum of contact pressures from the tip edge to its base in case the articulation is twisted. It results in increasing the wearing qualities and durability of the articulation. EFFECT: enhanced durability at the expense of lowering the contact pressures. 3 cl, 5 dwg
