FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: purification is carried out by thermal treatment of abgases in hole nickel pipes at 450-510 C and at volume rate feeding of reaction mass 6400-23000 6400-23000 h-1 following by separation of formed organochlorine products from HCl. Method provides producing of additional products (1,1-dichloroethane and methylchloroform), total yield of which is increased from 0.22-10.9% (by known method) to 42.0-67.8% (on the basis of ethyl chloride). Content of ethyl chloride in abgases after treatment is decreased from 0.3-3.2% to 0.16-1.7% . EFFECT: simplified process, enhanced purification degree, production of additional products. 1 tbl
