FIELD: measuring equipment. SUBSTANCE: on application of pressure to membrane, the resistance strain gauges arranged on membrane periphery along its axes of symmetry are deformed and their resistance changes in proportion with the measured pressure. When the converter is acted upon by nonstationary temperature, e.g. thermal shock, the additive temperature error of the converter diminishes due to high symmetry of resistance strain gauges made in the form of resistive strips and due to optimum selection of geometric parameters of said strips calculated by the submitted relation. Sensitivity of the converter grows because the resistive strip heating temperature is distributed uniformly over their length and the converter can be supplied with a higher voltage. EFFECT: higher accuracy of measurements under the effect of nonstationary temperature of measured medium, and higher sensitivity. 2 cl, 3 dwg
