FIELD: manufacture of poromeric adsorbing materials. SUBSTANCE: suspension polymerization of rectified divinylbenzene or crude divinylbenzene containing not less than 50 % by weight of divinylbenzene and not more than 40 % by weight of divinylsterene is carried out using cyclohexane or/and aromatic hydrocarbons as the porogene followed by evaporation of such solvents, with volume ratio of pure divinylbenzene/crude divinylbenzene to porogene being 1: 1-1.3. The porogene evaporation is carried out at 75-110 C. EFFECT: increased adsorption capacity. 2 tbl
