FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of making sorbents for purifying water from oil products and can be used in chemical industry for deep sorption purification of waste water and process solutions from oil products. The sorbent is obtained through radical copolymerisation of technical divinybenzene and styrene in a petrol solution (cut with Tboil of 115-140°C).
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain sorbents with high sorption capacity, which enables complete extraction of oil products from waste water with their content in water equal to or less than 50 mg/l.
