FIELD: production of glass. SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding glass mass to bath 1 and onto surface 2 of molten metal; forming tape 4 and forming profile by means of cooled profiled roll 5 positioned transverse of glass tape 4, with profile being formed by means of a pair of rolls disposed above and below glass tape. Roll 5 positioned below glass tape is disposed above metal melt level. Method allows high-quality constructional and ornamental figured glass with flame-polished surfaces to be produced and section profile providing increased strength. EFFECT: wider range and improved quality of glass. 1 dwg
