FIELD: sheet glass production on metal melt surface. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has bath 1 with metal smelt 2. Glass mass is fed in the bath onto metal smelt. The mass is flowing into flat strip 3. Shaping of corrugations is exercised under action of smelt pushing force by dipping strip 3 below level of smelt 2. In the process shaft 4 is given speed of rotation by electrical drive 6, that coincides with speed of strip 3 movement in the point. Shaping of relief of pattern takes place during significant dipping of shaft 4. Conical members in the case prevent sharp bendings of strip 3 edge areas providing required for normal cutting quality of glass and uniform height of corrugations of all areas of shaped glass. EFFECT: apparatus allows to arrange optimal mode of shaping of profile glass with fire-polished surface, increases production of good glass due to prevention of strip edge deformation. 2 dwg
