FIELD: separating and mixing. SUBSTANCE: centrifuge has cylindrical rotor 1 provided with ports 2,3 for discharging centrifuged effluent and sediment. The rotor has settling zone 4 and drying zone 5. Screw 6 and supplying pipe for supplying suspension are received in the rotor. Chamber 8 is received in a drum of the screw for preliminarily separating of the suspension. The chamber is in communication with the supplying pipe trough tangential branch pipe 9. Chamber 8 has two openings 12,13 for discharging concentrated fraction and clarified fraction. Opening 12 is positioned at grate base of cone-shaped part of the rotor. Opening 13 is positioned at lesser base upstream of drying zone. EFFECT: enhanced quality of separated materials. 4 dwg
