FIELD: electronics. SUBSTANCE: method involves sequential exposure of monocrystal to permanent saturating magnetic field in three perpendicular directions. Each time upon exposure, monocrystal is removed from effective range of permanent saturating magnetic field and strength of the latter is measured. Serviceable monocrystal is recognized from condition (δHmax-δHmin)/δHmax≅ A C ≅ δHmax≅ B, where δH is change in field strength when specimen is introduced in its effective range; A, B, C are chosen grading boundaries. EFFECT: improved output due to elimination of further treatment of defective blanks. 1 dwg
