FIELD: production of ferromagnetic monocrystalline products. SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting crystals into cubic pieces; imparting spherical shape to pieces; grinding, polishing by replaceable abrasive powder with gradually reducing size of particles; conducting chemical treatment. Polishing by abrasive powder with particle size of 10 micron is accompanied by introduction of additional diamond paste. When polishing by powder having particle size of 3 micron is terminated, spheres are treated in solution containing 0.15 of H2SO4·0,05CrO3·0,8H2O at 60 ± 10 C for 10 ± 1 min. Yield of high-quality spheres is 45% at average value of ΔH= 0,4 Oe. EFFECT: increased yield of high-quality spheres from monocrystals of calcium-vanadium system. 3 tbl
