FIELD: mixing processes; chemical, food-processing, wood-pulp-and-paper industries and other industries. SUBSTANCE: mixer includes housing with cavitators mounted inside it. Cavitators are made in form of blades having wedge-shaped section and sharp leading edge. Blades are mounted on fixed axle and are provided with wedge-shaped cover plates having sharp leading edges. Some cover plates are fixed on axle and other cover plates are connected with first ones by means of flexible member. Blades are mounted for reciprocating relative to cover plates. EFFECT: intensification of mixing process. 4 dwg, 1 tbl
