FIELD: organic chemistry, production of herbicides. SUBSTANCE: desired products are prepared by interaction of benzenesulfamides having common formula $$$ (where $$$ is Cl, $$$ and $$$ is H, Cl) with chloride of oxalic acid. The process is carried out in aromatic hydrocarbon or in aromatic hydrocarbon being substituted by halide in the presence of catalyst at 90-100 C. Tetramethyl ethylene diamine is used as mentioned above catalyst. Yield of desired product is 90-96 %. EFFECT: increases yield of desired product. 1 tbl
