FIELD: oil and gas producing industry. SUBSTANCE: field is drilled with producing and injection wells. Well bottoms are located directly under impermeable roof of producing reservoir in its gas condensate zone. Water is injected to raised part of reservoir to under impermeable roof. Condensate gas is recovered through producing wells with production rate excluding interception of injected water. Water lowers under gravity in reservoir to reach oil fringe. Part of water spreads over surface of gas-oil contact to form spreading areas. Remaining part of water persists lowering through oil fringe to reservoir foot zone due to gravitational separation of oil and water. Then, water fingers break through oil fringe and reach surface of water-oil contact. Oil fringe is dissected into separate oil-saturated blocks. EFFECT: higher efficiency in method realization on massive homogeneous reservoirs due to increased oil recovery factor and cut down capital outlays. 3 cl, 5 dwg
