FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to optical methods of check of parameters of aerosol particle suspended in air flow while investigating processes of combustion, in agriculture and environmental control. Air flow with aerosols is subjected to periodic action of heat flow heating up particles. Twice in succession during intervals between pulses difference of temperatures of particles and air flow is measured. Average thermophysical size of particles is found by means of calibrated dependence or relationship given in formula of invention. Concentration of aerosol particles is found from measured value of heat flow emerging from analyzed object with allowance for obtained value of average thermophysical size of particles. EFFECT: widened informativity of analysis thanks to additional determination of average thermophysical size of aerosols and enhanced precision of finding of concentration of aerosol particles. 6 dwg
