FIELD: electrophotography. SUBSTANCE: photoconductor layer comprises organic photoconductor N-substituted halogenated carbazole of common formula given in the invention description containing 20-70 wt.% of organic photoconductor, 30-80 % of polyimide. The solution is applied onto a substrate and is dried. EFFECT: improved layer quality due to enhanced photosensitivity. 1 tbl
