FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device has helium evaporation chamber provided with level detector and with a heater and gas heating chamber provided with heater, filtering meshes and liquid helium evaporation units as well as units for regulating gas heating. Chamber for heating gas is separated from evaporation chamber by insulating cup which has hole for gas passing. Filtering meshes are mounted between output of gas heating chamber and input into measuring chamber. Heater of evaporation chamber is connected to output of liquid helium evaporation unit; level detector is connected to the input of this unit. Gas heater is connected with output of the unit for regulating gas heating. Liquid helium enters evaporation chamber after pre-cooling under influence of hydrostatic pressure. Evaporation unit regulates evaporation of liquid helium according to liquid helium is advanced into evaporation chamber. In this situation level of helium in the chamber is kept to be constant that results to exclusion of evaporation non-stability. Gaseous helium enters chamber for gas heating through insulating cup. Gas heating unit determines power of gas heater which is required for sustaining definite temperature of gaseous helium. Transition to new temperature is reduced in time.
