FIELD: organic chemistry, heterocyclic compounds. SUBSTANCE: product: 3-(2-aminoethylthio)-1,2,4-triazino-[5,6-b]-indole. Synthesis is carried out from 3-mercapto-1,2,4-triazino-[5,6-b] -indole and β-bromoethylamine bromohydrate at 50 C. Empirical formula is C11H11N5S, yield is 74.2%, m. p. is 245 C. Toxicity LD50 = 12.25 mg/kg. At hypercapnic hypoxia (at increased CO2 content) new compound provides 100% survival as compared with 25% in known bemithyl toxicity of which LD50 = 2.25 mg/kg.
