FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: recombinant plasmid pCU201 containing gene of thermostable b-glucosidase consists of plasmid pBR322, into Bam HI-site of which DNA-fragment (size is 4.1 thousand nucleotide pairs) is cloned. This DNA-fragment obtained by partial hydrolysis of DNA from Clostridium thermocellum with restriction endonuclease Sau 3A contains gene of thermostable (at 60 C) b-glucosidase. Strain E. coli K12 C600 containing plasmid pCU201 from Collection Central Museum of Industrial Microorganisms produces thermostable b-glucosidase. EFFECT: preparing of plasmid indicated above.
