FIELD: magnetooptics. SUBSTANCE: monocrystalline film of iron garnet is deposited on transparent substrate in proposed magnetooptical converter. Film has such magnetic anisotropy that magnetization vectors in it deviate through angle of not more than 25 degrees in absence of magnetic field. After saturation of film along normal to it magnetic-field intensity amounts to 10 to 20000 Oe. EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity and spatial resolution with visualization of inhomogeneous magnetic field. 36 cl, 9 dwg
