SUBSTANCE: charge materials preliminarily remelted in vacuum are refined by introduction of an oxygen, for example, nickel oxide into the melt, its amount stoichiometrically exceeding that which is necessary for oxidation of carbon to its dioxide by 2.0 to 8.5 times with subsequent deoxidation.
