FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: enhanced light output and transparency of plastic scintillator designed for measurement of ionizing radiations are achieved by microfiltration of solution of luminescent additives in monomer prior to polarization through filter with dimension of pores 0.05-1.0 0.05-1.0 μm. Light output of scintillators manufactured by this process increases by 34-45% as compared with scintillator produced by known method and transparency improves 1.5-2.1 fold which enables efficiency of registration and sensitivity of detector to be raised. EFFECT: raised efficiency and sensitivity.
