FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: signal is formed and emitted from each object which is inquiry-responsive one for next object and responsive for the rest of them. Initiative of formation of next signal is passed to next object. Delays between moments of signal emission and moment of arrival of signals from the rest of objects as well as direction of arrival of these signals are measured at each object. Distance of each object from the rest of them is calculated by measured delays and directions. EFFECT: reduced time of determination of position of object. 5 dwg
