FIELD: erection of ice constructions in Extreme North regions. SUBSTANCE: method involves pouring and freezing-through water layers; providing forced removal of unfrozen liquid and simultaneously replacing removed liquid by water supplied under pressure and having low salt content; freezing newly supplied water through, with freezing-through process being conducted in two stages: at the first stage water is frozen through till ice block having thickness within the range of 25-40% the thickness of poured layer is formed. At the second stage remaining liquid is frozen through by repeated forced removals of unfrozen liquid portion and replacement by new quantities of water. Unfrozen water portions may be removed by cooled air supplied under pressure with following replacement by water. EFFECT: reduced construction work costs, increased strength and enhanced reliability of ice construction. 2 cl, 4 dwg
