FIELD: oil industry. SUBSTANCE: central tube 3 for supplying fluid is provided with nozzle 7 with converging-diverging nozzle 8 and cylindrical hollow shank 9 having tangential openings 4. In the inlet portion of shank 9 is cylindric insert 11 with central opening 12 and diffuser bore 13 at the outlet that forms a sharp edge. Insert 11 is mounted so that to permit the sharp edge to move axially in the zone of openings 4. Fluid enters the space of nozzle 7 from tube 3 through tangential opening 4 of nozzle 7 and central opening 12 of insert 11. Downstream of the sharp edge is a cavity. The central flow does not allow the fluid to flow in opposite direction in the zone of the cavity. By moving the sharp edge of insert 11 in the zone of tangential openings 4 one can control cavitation. The fluid further enters the converging-diverging nozzle. Air that is swirled by swirler 6 produces additional spraying of fluid. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of spraying. 2 cl, 3 dwg
