FIELD: heat-power engineering; heating water in heat supply lines. SUBSTANCE: chamber 1 contains cavitator made in form of impeller 3 with hollow hub and wedge-shaped blades 5. Impeller 3 is secured on hollow rod 6; outlet ends of blades 5 are provided with system of through passages brought in communication with cavity of cavitator rod 6. Outlet end of hub of impeller 3 may be provided with axial hole 9 where valve 10 is fitted. Water to be heated is fed to cavitation chamber 1 where cavities are formed when water flows around blades 5. Heating heat-transfer agent enters chamber 1 via through passages and hole 9 where it gives off heat to water at momentary contact with it at boundary of cavity. To adjust intensity of heating of blade 5 and hub, fuel-air injector is mounted in rod 6 for axial displacement. EFFECT: intensification of heat exchange. 2 cl, 2 dwg
