FIELD: carbon black production. SUBSTANCE: method includes feeding swirl flow of air into combustion zone to form swirl flow of combustion products; feeding swirl flow of air into combustion product stream; cavitation treatment of complex carbon- containing raw material with summary asphaltene and tar content less than 10%, to which raw material, in cavitation stage after heating and before introducing it into combustion product flow, remaining raw material components preliminarily subjected to separate cavitation treatment with summary asphaltene and tar content higher than 10% are added. Finally raw material is thermally decomposed to produce carbon black-containing gas products from which carbon black is separated with yield 46-47%. Coking capacity of reactor is 1.6-2.8% and grit formation 0.001-0.0003%. EFFECT: increased yield of carbon black with reduced grit and coke formation. 1 dwg, 2 tbl
