FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves filling a container with low-oxygen gas medium and maintaining the medium composition in the process of storage of farm products. The device has compressor 1 and gas-dividing apparatus 2 open to container 3 by means of pipelines. The device also has inflow branch pipe 4 for delivery of air. The device is provided with series-mounted receiver 5, shut-off valve 6, reducing valve 7, discharge switch 8, check valves 9-12, and indicator 13 which shows highest permissible values of pressure in receiver 5. The latter is in communication with compressor 1. Branch pipes 14 and 15 connect discharge switch 8 to container 3, and check valves 10-12 are installed on the pipeline between receiver 5 and apparatus 2. These two units are open to each other via air-operated junction 16. Check valve 9 is installed between container 3 and inflow branch pipe 4 for the purpose of feeding air into compressor 1. The latter makes possible quick creation of gas medium in container 3, and receiver 5 maintains the gas medium composition in the container 3, and receiver 5 maintains the gas medium composition in the process of storage of farm products.
