FIELD: storage of agricultural products, in particular, providing controllable medium for prolonged storage of perishable products. SUBSTANCE: method involves placing products in chamber; dividing medium with products into hermetically sealed volumes; creating and maintaining controlled gaseous medium by communicating hermetically sealed volumes in predetermined sequence depending on kind of product to be stored; maintaining parameters of gaseous medium in each volume by generating return gas flows from gaseous medium of hermetically sealed volumes and ambient air or nitrogen and keeping individual temperature and gaseous medium composition at required level.
