FIELD: mining; applicable in making curved holes. SUBSTANCE: hole making robot has drilling head which consists of front section 1 and rear section 2. Sections 1 and 2 are interconnected by controlled deflecting tool from three hinge mechanism with input links 3. Each hinge mechanism has spherical hinge with ball and axial bearing. Balls are connected with input links 3. Lateral axes of hinge rotation are oriented parallel to axis of rotating pair with eccentricity relative to it. When forming curved section of hole, input link 3 is moved out by means of geared motor 11 and deflecting tool changes direction of drilling. Presence of spherical hinges increases mobility of deflecting tool that allows manufacture of robot of small diameter. EFFECT: extended field of application due to provision of making slim holes. 6 dwg
