FIELD: oil and fat industry. SUBSTANCE: counterflow extraction of oil, distilling and condensation of solvent vapors are conducted concurrently in a column-type counterflow apparatus, feeding the upper portion of said apparatus with vapors of solvent superheated by 10-100 C and feeding its lower portion with oil-containing material at a temperature below the solvent boiling temperature. EFFECT: simplification of method, reduction of power expenditures, diminishing the oil losses, eliminating pollution of sewage and decreasing denaturation of protein components in oil-seed meal. 1 tbl
