FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: tester includes storage cell with flat electrodes of lamellar structure and case made of nonconductive nonmagnetic material integrated with indicator of its state having generator of variable voltage of sinusoidal shape, two-input A.C. amplifier, warning device, adjustment, first and second windings which first leads are tied up together and are linked to first lead of variable voltage generator and second leads of first and second windings are connected to first and second inputs of two-input amplifier. Tester is fitted with first and second shell-type cores of cup-shaped form with central bar open on side of one of faces, comparator, source of stable voltage, two-input phase check unit. Adjustment element is manufactured in the form of disc made from thermally stable semiconductor material. First and second windings are arranged on central bars of first and second ferromagnetic cores. With connection of generator to windings value of losses from action of eddy currents induced in inductive circuit of second winding depends on temperature of electrode of storage cell. When temperature of electrode exceeds level of heat diffusion warning device signals about trouble. EFFECT: increased safety of storage cell during use by way of decrease of lag of temperature monitoring inside it. 2 cl, 2 dwg
