FIELD: parachute technique. SUBSTANCE: parachute system has pack cover 1 with canopy 2 and lines 3 laid in it. Mounted on lateral surface 4 of cover 1 are: flexible clamping member with loop 6 on one side and loop 7 with ring 8 on opposite side. Parachute cover 1 is provided with two diametrically opposite ports 9 through which clamping member is passed separating bundle of lines 3 and adjoining lower edge 10 of canopy 2 for holding it in cover to complete tension of lines 3. Flexible clamping member is connected with loop 7 and is then locked in position. When parachute system is placed in operation, extracting device first pulls lines 3 out of cover 1 and flexible clamping member holds canopy 2 in cover 1 till complete tension of lines 3. Then extracting device pulls bundle of lines 3 from loop of clamping member locking loop 6; as a result, clamping member is released, i.e. edge 10 canopy 2 is released and may freely escape to incoming flow from cover 1. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of placing the parachute system in operation and extended range of its application by velocity heads. 7 dwg
