FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: deposit is opened from top downward. Upper horizon is opened by inclined semitrench. Horizontal working trench is excavated to extract upper horizon. Overburden rocks are filled into external dump by tiers. Excavated in rocks of dump tier to lower horizon is semitrench, and next horizon is extracted. Transportation roads are made in inclined trenches and working trenches. Upon completion of mining of opencast working horizons on the section adjacent to external dump down to design depth, filling of tiers of internal dump is started from tiers of external dump. Internal dump is conjugated to external dump. Tiers of internal dump are filled from bottom up. As dump tiers grow, transportation roads are rearranged to new position. EFFECT: cut down costs for mining due to reduced distances of overburden rock transportation and drilling and blasting operations with decreased areas of occupation by external dumps. 2 cl, 6 dwg
