FIELD: centrifugal extractors provided with devices for processing liquids with solid particle impurities; applicable in hydrometallurgical, radiochemical, food and medical equipment and other industries. SUBSTANCE: the offered centrifugal extractor has rotor 11 provided with groove 20 adjacent to maximum diameter of its taper surface. Shell is made in form off bent pipe 21 having two sections and 30 located in planes different in height and interconnected by vertical member 31. Section 29 is located outside rotor 11 in a spaced relation to cover 17. Its end 32 is rigidly secured to support 7, and hole 23 of this end is connected with ambient atmosphere. Vertical member 31 is located with gap between cover 17 and shaft 10. One more bent section 30 is located in rotor 11 in zone of heavy phase with gap between cover 17 and circular groove 20 and provided with end face 33 located in a spaced relation to circular groove 20 in plane running through axis of rotation of rotor 11.
