FIELD: mixing liquids and solids in hydrodynamic cavitation field; petrochemical, chemical, food-processing and other industries. SUBSTANCE: cavitation mixer has housing with supply and discharge branch pipes. Hollow hub mounted inside housing forms circular clearance. Hub is provided with inlet and outlet branch pipes and cavitators. One cavitator is located in circular clearance and other cavitator is located in cavity of hub. Cavitation mixer is provided with separator made in form of half-torus fitted with branch pipes and pump fitted with supply and discharge branch pipes. Blades of pump have supercavitating profile. Separator is mounted in discharge branch pipe at distance equal to 0.5-5.0 diameters of mixer housing from outlet section of hub outlet branch pipe. Inlet branch pipe of hub is brought in communication with discharge branch pipe of pump, its supply branch pipe being brought in communication with branch pipes of separator. Cavitator is mounted at distance from outlet section of outlet branch pipe equal to 1-10 its diameters. Blades of cavitator are inclined to opposite side.
