FIELD: mixing technique; petrochemical industry. SUBSTANCE: mixer includes housing with supply and discharge branch pipes, flow-through chamber where cavitating impellers and reciprocating motion drive are mounted in succession. Hubs of impellers are mounted for free rotation. Hub of second impeller (in way of flow) is provided with braking device connected with reciprocating motion drive. Highest intensity of cavitation may be obtained on main impeller due to preliminary swirling of flow on preliminary impeller; intensity of mixing will be controlled through braking the impellers.
