FIELD: inorganic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: method involves evaporation of cesium nitrate solution in the presence of oxalic and formic acids at the mole ratio of components CsNO3:H2C2O4:HCOOH=1:(4.5-5.0):(3.0-3.5) : HCOOH = 1: (4.5-5.0): (3.0-3.5) in thin-filmed rotary evaporator at 115-120 C up to preparing dry residue following by thermal decomposition of oxalic salts formed. EFFECT: accelerated process, providing of its safety at cesium nitrate-137 reprocessing. 3 tbl
