FIELD: heat power engineering. SUBSTANCE: entrance chamber has case 1 with branch pipes 2 and annular corrugated screen 4; corrugations of the screen are disposed at some angle to pipes 3. Corrugations may be perpendicular to the pipes or may dispose along helical line. Screen 4 itself may be formed by a set of coaxial screens mounted at a spaced relation one to another. Screen may be also made in form of a truncated cone. Branch pipes 2 are mounted tangential to case 1. At operation of heat exchanger design of entrance chamber provides reduction in vibration of pipes and improves mixture of media with different temperatures. Corrugations act as compensators of temperature stresses. EFFECT: improved reliability. 6 cl, 5 dwg
